We install EV chargers
in your parking lot.

It costs you nothing. You get paid.

Parked Energy handles design, permits, construction, equipment, maintenance, and rebates. You provide a few parking stalls and collect a monthly check.

We're building a network of reliable, well-priced Level 2 EV chargers across Southern California. The kind that work every time, charge at a fair rate, and bring EV drivers back to your property.

Here's the deal

We bring

  • Commercial EV chargers (Level 2, dual-port)
  • Design, engineering, and permitting
  • Full installation: trenching, wiring, equipment pads
  • 24/7 remote monitoring and on-site maintenance
  • Payment processing built into every charger
  • Utility rebate applications, where available

You bring

  • 4–5 parking stalls
  • A signature on the agreement

That's the whole list. No capital investment, no electrical work, no maintenance, no software.

How it works

  1. 1
    We walk your property

We find the best spot for chargers. Near electrical service, visible from the entrance, without displacing your busiest stalls.

  2. 2
    We handle the paperwork

Permits, utility coordination, rebate applications. You sign what needs signing. We do everything else.

  3. 3
    We build it

Trenching, conduit, panels, charger installation, signage, striping, bollard protection. Your lot gets a quiet upgrade.

  4. 4
    You start collecting

Chargers go live. Drivers pay to charge their cars while shopping, getting a workout in, or watching a movie. You get a share of the revenue every month. We keep everything running.

Why this works for your property

1 in 4 new cars sold in California is electric

Your customers are already driving them. They need somewhere to charge while they shop, eat, or work out.

EV drivers spend 2–3× more where they charge

They're parked for 30 to 90 minutes. That's dinner, a workout, a grocery run. Real dwell time at your tenants' businesses.

Chargers put you on the map. Literally.

Your property shows up in PlugShare, Google Maps, and every charging app. Drivers route to you on purpose.

You carry zero financial risk

If nobody charges, you pay nothing. If everyone charges, you earn more. We take the downside.

Questions we get asked

Does this really cost me nothing?

Yes. Parked Energy pays for the chargers, the installation, and all ongoing operations. Where utility rebate programs exist, we apply for those too. They cover the electrical infrastructure work. Your out-of-pocket cost is zero.

What do I actually have to do?

Provide 4–5 parking stalls and sign the site host agreement. That's it. We handle permits, construction, equipment, software, billing, and maintenance.

How do drivers pay?

Credit card tap, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or the charging network app. Payment hardware is built into every charger. No extra equipment, no cash.

How much will I earn?

It depends on utilization. You receive a percentage of every charging session's revenue, paid monthly. More EV drivers in your area means more revenue, and that number grows every year.

Do I have to maintain anything?

No. Parked Energy monitors the chargers remotely around the clock and handles all maintenance and repairs. Our uptime target is 98% or better.

How many parking spots?

A standard install uses 4 to 5 stalls: two dual-port chargers plus an ADA-accessible space. We place them where they're visible but won't displace your highest-traffic spots. Where it makes sense for your customers, we may ask to add multiple installations across the same lot.

What if I sell the property?

The agreement transfers to the new owner. If they don't want the chargers, we remove everything and restore the stalls at our cost.

Do you only work in areas with utility rebates?

No. Rebate programs reduce costs and we pursue them where they exist, but we deploy chargers based on site quality: location, dwell time, parking. Rebates are a bonus, not a prerequisite.

How long is the agreement?

Typically 5–10 years, with renewal options. Long enough for both sides to benefit from growing EV adoption, with clear exit terms if circumstances change.

What if nobody uses the chargers?

You have no financial exposure. If utilization is low, we absorb the cost. You only earn money. You never owe it.
